Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort in Aruba has won the Award for Best Overall Green Globe business in recognition of its most outstanding Benchmarked results

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort has been rated # 1 top hotel in Aruba according to Freeman Group and their quality inspections.

Service performance is measured through an anonymous process against the specific standards of the property/properties. Over time, the data is bundled to show service trends, both good and bad, and to compare performance against the agreed upon standards, past results, competition, and industry norms.

Each year the Freeman Group is engaged by AHATA Aruba Hotel and Tourism Association to conduct quality surveys whereby quality control inspectors experience the resorts as guests. The inspectors do not identify themselves; therefore the inspection is valued as representing a genuine guest perspective from the time they make the reservation until check out and everything in between.

The entire Amsterdam Manor staff is extremely excited about the fact that their hard work and dedication has paid off again, especially after ongoing training programs based on the renowned Freeman standards. "All guests are considered Freeman inspectors according to our staff and management. We provide top quality service to each and everyone we come into contact with; according to Ms. Janine Croes the Front Office Supervisor.

This is a testament to our consistency in providing excellent service. The hotel has been rated #1 twice during the past 4 years and always in the top 3. Not to mention having the highest scores island wide in Housekeeping and Food & Beverage departments.

This recognition only reinforces the award we won a few months prior when Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort was awarded the coveted 2005 Best of the Caribbean award in the small hotel category by Caribbean Travel and Life magazine in their reader's poll.

These awards and the re-certifications of Green Globe clearly show that we are always looking for ways to improve the environment for the enjoyment of our guests as well as our entire community.
