About Us

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort with its unique Dutch Colonial appearance has been owned and managed by the Dutch family Van Schaijk since the hotel was built in December 1989. The Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort, located at one of Aruba's most beautiful beaches, has been designed by the famous Dutch architect Jan Hubert. For over 15 years the family Van Schaijk, together with an enthusiastic, hospitable and hard-working team have been able to run a successful and popular hotel, leading to a large group of loyal returning guests, which have become important members of our Amsterdam Manor family.

Our resort has always shown great dedication to providing the highest levels of service to our guests. The same perseverance has been shown in our commitment to Aruba's environment, which has earned us a Green Globe certification.

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort is centrally located on Aruba; situated just a 5 minute drive from downtown Oranjestad and a 15 minute drive from Aruba's international airport Reina Beatrix. The high rise area is located a few minutes away from our hotel, offering various dining opportunities, shops and casinos.

Simply by crossing the quiet coastal road you will set foot on the pearly white sand of Aruba's famous 'Eagle Beach', which has been ranked number one in the world by Porthole Cruise Magazine. Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort has 72 spacious air-conditioned studios, one and two bedroom suites, comfortably stretched out over the entire property with cozy courtyard and spectacular ocean views.
